I was just annoyed at the way bbcode (almost) blindly adds http:// to urls so you cannot easily link to existing pages or files on your site without typing a complete domain name (e.g. somesite.net/forumdir/anotherdir/afile.ext), even though real HTML links can be relative (e.g. /forumdir/anotherdir/afile.ext, ./anotherdir/ or ../afile.ext).
The lack of relative urls makes local links more cumbersome to enter.
